Benchmark Survey on Gender Equity in the Staffing Industry
Women Business Collaborative launches its third benchmark survey on gender equity in the Staffing and Executive Search industry.
Alexandria, VA, Aug. 9, 2023 – Women Business Collaborative (WBC), in partnership with TechServe Alliance, The American Staffing Association, National Association of Personnel Services, and Staffing Industry Analysts, announces the launch of its 2023 benchmark survey on gender equity in the Staffing and Executive Search industry. This survey, our third annual, seeks to understand better the progress being made toward the achievement of equity in position, pay, and power for women in the Staffing Industry.
Past surveys have suggested that we are seeing moderate progress in the balance of power for women in Board and C-level roles but are still lacking in roles involving P&L responsibility. Further, these surveys have given us unique insights into the differences in performance and employee engagement resulting from firms run by women CEOs.
This year’s survey has been modified to simplify some of the responses while allowing new dimensions from which to analyze the results. We have also added some questions about gender equity that we feel will better frame our results with action-oriented insight.
“We are truly excited to release this third benchmark survey around gender equity in the Staffing industry”, said Kip Wright, WBC Board Director and Chair of the WBC Advisory Council Staffing Workstream. “In partnership with our Association and Research partners, we have been able to leverage the results of past benchmark surveys to increase awareness and accelerate the progress of this important objective”.
The survey is open to all employees of Staffing and Executive Search companies. Results will be assembled, analyzed, and published later this year.
