International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. The campaign theme for International Women’s Day 2022 is #BreakTheBias. Whether deliberate or unconscious, bias makes it difficult for women to move ahead. Knowing that bias exists isn’t enough. Action is needed to level the playing field.

Join us for an interactive workshop on what bias means and how it impacts our leadership style and hiring practices in the IT and engineering staffing industry. We will learn about how bias manifests itself in key aspects of leadership as well as walk away with tangible simple actions you can take to become aware of and overcome your bias. Our panel of industry leaders will share their experiences of how they were impacted by bias (positively or negatively) and what they and their companies are doing to break the bias in recruiting and hiring.
