Karen Wilson, President Karen is President/CEO of MAKE Corporation located in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. MAKE Corporation is a staffing and solutions organization that began focused primarily on IT services but has grown to include services for additional contingent workforce categories. Karen has been an active member of TechServe Alliance for over 10 years and currently serves as President on the TechServe Alliance Board of Directors. Karen also serves as President on the Board of Directors for VMS Professionals, a not for profit association she co-founded in 2003. VMS Professionals is comprised of end users of contingent workforce and its mission is to establish Best Practices. VMS Professionals is hosting its 7th annual conference in 2011 at McDonald's Corporation's Hamburger University. Karen represents the voice of the IT staffing supplier for this grass roots organization. Under Karen's leadership, MAKE Corporation has earned a place on Staffing Industry Analysts' list of Fastest Growing Companies for the past five years. Susan Thaden, Vice-President Susan Thaden, President of CRi, started the company in 1999. Susan was first exposed to the IT Industry in 1992 as a marketing representative selling Medical Software in Ohio. Two years later, she moved to Omaha to join an IT consulting firm as an Account Manager. In building CRi, Susan has participated in every aspect of the business with primary focus on leading sales and recruiting. As President and CEO, Susan has developed a strong leadership team who assists in the day to day coaching of sales, recruiting and consultant management. Steve Norris, Chairman Steve Norris is the President & CEO of EdgeTech Consulting, Inc., a global Information Technology Staffing and Consulting firm, based in Irvine, CA. Prior to co-founding EdgeTech in September 2000, Mr. Norris' background was in sales, sales management and strategy in the software industry. Mr. Norris is very active in TechServe Alliance and is currently serving on its National Board of Directors, and the TechServe Alliance Southern California Chapter Board of Directors. Tom Nunn, Treasurer Tom Nunn is the president of Tom Nunn Consulting, LLC, a company he started in 2009 that specializes in helping owners of growing companies implement best practices to enable long term growth, profitability and health. Prior to starting his own company, Tom was president of the Eliassen Group, a national IT staffing company headquartered in Boston, MA. Over the nine years that he was at Eliassen, Tom helped develop and lead a high performing team that grew the company from $25MM to $100MM and top quartile profitability. Tom has over 30 years of diverse business experience including many years as an executive in the financial services industry where he built teams that oversaw IT and back office support for Wall Street type business in multi-national banks. Mark Roberts, CEO Mark Roberts is Chief Executive Officer of TechServe Alliance. Prior to being named CEO by the TechServe Alliance Board of Directors in February 2003, Mr. Roberts served as COO & General Counsel of the association. He is an authority on issues and trends impacting the IT services industry. He writes and speaks frequently on industry topics. Before joining TechServe Alliance, Mr. Roberts was a partner in the Labor and Employment Group of Steel Hector & Davis LLP, a large Florida law firm. Mr. Robert's practice consisted of counseling national, international and local companies including staffing firms, on a wide range of issues arising out of all aspects of the employment disputes pending before various federal and state courts and administrative tribunals including trying cases on a jury. Mr. Roberts also served for four years in the Washington, D.C. office of Congressman Benjamin A. Gilman of New York. Mr. Roberts earned his undergraduate degree from Haverford College in Political Science. He earned his law degree with distinction from Emory University in 1990. Mr. Roberts currently serves as a member of the Labor Relations Committee of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
